An unexpected power outage at the 8th Annual StarChefs International Chefs Congress in 2013 left many contestants struggling to prepare their dishes.
Many of the contestants had prepared sorbet and gelato ahead of the competition, and unfortunately for some, those frozen delights melted away. However, those who had Randell’s FX Series were able to salvage their desserts after finding them still frozen the next morning!
